• The conservative must become more engaged in public matters.
o More conservatives than before will need to seek elective and appointive office, fill the ranks of
the administrative state, hold teaching positions in public schools and universities, and find positions in
Hollywood and the media whtere they can make a difference in infinite ways.
o Parents and grandparents must take it upon themselves to teach their children and grandchildren to
believe in and appreciate the principles of the American civil society and stress their import of preserving
and improving the society.
• The conservative should acquire knowledge outside the Statist’s universe.
• The conservative must act now.
• The conservative must take heart from, and learn the lessons of, his nation’s history.
• Taxation
o Eliminate the progressive income tax – replace it with a flat income tax or national sales tax.
o All residents of the country must be required to pay the tax.
o Eliminate the systematic withholding of taxes.
o Elimiinate the corporate income tax.
o Eliminate the death tax.
o A supermajority would be required for any new tax increases.
o Limit federal spending to less than 20 percent of the Gross Domestic Product.
• Environment
o Eliminate the special tax exempt status granted to environmental groups.
o Eliminate special statutory authority granting environmental groups standing to bring lawsuits on behalf of
the public.
o Fight all efforts to use environmental regulations to set governmental policies and diminish the nation’s
standard of living.
• Judges
o Limit the Supreme Court’s judicial review power by establishing a legislative veto over Court decisions.
o Eliminate lifetime tenure for federal judges.
o No judicial nominee should be confirmed who rejects the jurisprudence of originalism.
• The Administrative State
o Sunset all “independent” federal agencies each year, subject to Congress affirmatively reestablishing them.
o Require federal departments and agencies to reimburse individuals and enterprises for the costs
associated with the devaluation of their private property from the issuance of regulations that compromise
the use of their property.
o Eliminate unions for federal government employees.
o Reduce the civilian federal workforce by 20 percent or more.
• Government Education
o Eliminate monopoly control of government education by applying the antitrust laws to the National
Education Association and American Federation of Teachers.
o Eliminate tenure for government schoolteachers and college/university professors.
o Strip the statist agenda from curricula.
o Eliminate the federal Department of Education.
• Immigration
o Eliminate chain migration.
o Secure the nation’s borders and discourage those who violate them.
o End multiculturalism, diversity, and bilingualism in public institutions.
• Entitlements
o Educate the young people about the intergenerational trap the Statist has laid for them.
• Foreign policy and security.
o Ensure that all foreign policy decisions are made for the purpose of preserving and improving American
Society.
o Reject all treaties, entanglements, institutions, and enterprises that have as their purpose the supplantation
of America’s best interests.
o Ensure that America remains the world’s superpower.
• Faith
o Oppose all efforts to denude the nation of its founding justification
• The Constitution
o Demand that all public servants, elected or appointed, at all times uphold the Constitution and justify their
public acts under the Constitution.
o Oppose all efforts to “constitutionalize” the statist agenda.
o Eliminate limits on and rationing of political free speech.
