When conservatives regain control of Congress, we must start rolling back the statist vision of our country. Not only must legislation be repealed, but money must stop flowing to the statists.
- Defund the left.
- Organizations such as Acorn and Planned Parenthood that receive federal funds.
- Liberal groups that continue to be political should lose their tax exempt status. The Sierra Club, Greenpeace, PETA, and Amnesty International have been shills for the left for too long.
- Stop the political power of unions
- Secret ballot elections must be required, ending the intimidation that can come with balloting in front of union thugs.
- Public employees must not be allowed to unionize, particularly the teachers unions. This has almost destroyed public education and gives the public employees far too much political power.
- Remove tenure from teachers, and hold them ‘accountable’.
- Unions that represent real workers should only represent their workers in labor negotiations and political power must be removed.
- Limits must be put on trial lawyers
- limits must be placed on awards and on the ability of lawyers to bring class action suits, while still protecting the rights of the innocent.
