Is Palin Losing Her Mo?

Sarah Palin could be losing some of her luster as a tiff with the ACU's David Keene, an 'old guard stalwart', has kept her from attending this year's CPAC Convention.  Palin also promised to campaign hard for conservatives in the mid-term elections, but seems to be focusing on attending high profile conferences, rather than build up her chits with those running for Senate or Congress.  Massachusetts Senatorial candidate Scott Brown could really use a push from her as he is a few points behind and the election is coming up quickly.  If elected to fill the seat, created with the death of Senator Edward Kennedy, Brown could break the filibuster proof hold the Democrat party has on the Senate.  By taking a breather, or as Palinistas would have it 'reloading' Palin may be losing some of the momentum she garnered with her book tour.

Speculation abounds regarding Palins plans for a 2012 Presidential run, particularly as Obama continues to slide in the polls, and the electorate continues its rightward move.  One political scientist has even gone so far as to suggest that Haley Barbour may be the perfect running mate for Palin.  That is a bit of a stretch at this point in time, although there is no doubt that Palin has her eye on a Presidential run.
